- OUYA Will Launch at Amazon, Best Buy in June OUYA, the Android-based, hackable gaming console is only months away from being released to the public. The developers have announced that the OUYA will hit major retailers like Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon as early as June for $99. Amazon is now accepting preorders. [Mashable]
- Redbox Instant Coming to Xbox 360 as Console Launch Exclusive in the 'Very Near Future' A deal between Redbox and Microsoft will bring Redbox Instant to Xbox 360 when the movie streaming service launches sometime in Q1. Just like with Netflix, Microsoft will require you to be an Xbox Live Gold subscriber in order to access Redbox Instant on your console. Redbox Instant is also coming to iOS, Android, Google TV, and various smart TVs. [Engadget]
- Hidden iPad Buttons Suggest Apple Will Bring Radio Functionality to iTunes Owners of newly jailbroken iPads have discovered that Apple may be bringing radio to iOS. Files indicative of a "radio button" and "buy" options suggest that the tablet's iTunes will soon be updated with a Pandora-esque radio service that will allow users to purchase the songs they like. - Introducing Amazon Coins: A New Virtual Currency for Kindle Fire Today Amazon announced Amazon Coins, their new virtual currency for use on the Kindle Fire. Coins will not replace credit cards, they'll just be another payment option available to customers. Amazon Coins will launch in May.
